As the evening fizzles under a soft rain, LIEU Magazine kick-starts its own celebration at Albertinos to launch its 5th issue on a Saturday, August 17, 2013. Just that morning, the city was shrouded in a festivity that amassed together people from all walks of life in a city-wide celebration of diversity -- the Kadayawan Festival.

The launching had, to date, the longest lineup of performances that included homegrown talents Topee Lim, Ceejay Sagarino, Skymarines, Patrick Castanos, Jad Montenegro Band, 8-A, Mowgli+Baloo and Lucas.

Featuring LIEU's maiden project entitled #TheDavaoWeSee, which is a month-long Instagram project before the issue's launching, the team showcased 15 entries that encapsulated the city's once-untold visual stories. With this, the event was also attended by the selected few whose photos were up on display. At a corner, people were busy picking out pre-loved items which was part of the event also organized by the team.

LIEU Magazine's 5th issue launching date hadn't come coincidentally alongside Davao City's major festival. In truth, the magazine is a subtle dedication brought about by the countless artistic inspirations that the city possesses.
