STYLE GUIDE + GIVEAWAY: Swervin'

Swerv, an up and coming clothing line that focuses on street wear teams up with LIEU for an online style guide and merch giveaway.

What is Swerv, really? Can you tell us how did it start as a clothing line and who are the people behind it.

Swerv is a brand that originated as a slang term in the states and Canada. Its known as a good feeling. If you cant really understand it through a definition thats what makes it unique.

The brand officially made its debut last year by 2 random guys just sketching down ideas. The brand was owned by two members originally John Robin Robale and Jonar Reyes and grew into a small corporation as the brand expanded. The primary people in the group are now John Robin Robale and Denzel Ngo.

Is their a certain inspiration that you'd like to point out?

Our brand is basically based on positivity and good vibes. Something to motivate a person throughout the day and make him or her feel confident while wearing our shirts. We are the kind of brand that tells people to think and be positive.

As a street wear brand, what does it aim to prove?

Our brand does not really aim to prove much. It really depends on the perspective of the people and how they want to wear our shirts. Swerv is not really focused to aim on a certain group of people but is open to all sorts of crowds. I guess our "aim" is to prove that Davao also has its own local brands. We are here to put our mark in the industry.

Where can we find your shirts and how can we purchase it?

Our shop is based online. you can find us at www.facebook.com/SwervMovement and PM us for orders.
