Things A Man Should Have In His Room

Text by Roland Castanos

Your room should maintain a character and organization, and provide entertainment for you and your friends on those nights where you’re too broke to hit the movies or be out with your girl.

In modern terms, we refer this as “your man cave.” Don’t be afraid to invest into it! After all at the end of the day this is the main place you will retreat to.

COLOGNE
A man should always have good cologne at hand somewhere in your room. Cologne is something that could help define your  masculinity after establishing good dress attire. Being handsome shouldn’t just stop at dressing well. You want to make women want you! Cologne helps.  Keep a variation of cologne to rotate around when you’re going out. Don’t be predictable on how you smell because women find that boring.

POSTERS
Put character into your room like posters or paintings. Let your room be an actual manifestation of your personality and what you like. Some people like putting band posters up, others prefer nature imagery, others buildings. Put whatever suits you!

ENTERTAINMENT
Now another great thing to invest in your room is entertainment. Let your room be your man cave, a place where you can retreat to and just relax. Get a good gaming laptop or just a regular laptop and surf the net! If you want the best gaming experience buy a gaming console (Xbox one, Ps4, Wii U)  and be up on the latest hottest games in the market.  Use it to connect with your friends, read, and harness the full vastness of the internet. (just remember to buy an internet card or find WiFi, also get a TV if you decide on a console)

SOUND SYSTEMS

PUMP THE VOLUME! Another great thing to invest in your room for entertainment is a good stereo system. Further your man cave! Plug in your iPod, your laptop, and your phone, whatever!  Let yourself zone in your music or your favorite movies with a good system to truly bring the full experience of entertainment.
