Let's be honest: LIEU Magazine came out of nowhere. To forge a name for itself, it had to break rules, overcome boundaries, and exceed expectations. It's been more than a year, and LIEU has changed the landscape of Davao youth culture. And, yes, these kids are still at it.

Cheers to that!

Last March 8, LIEU threw a party to celebrate its 1-year anniversary at the Blue Room, Apo View Hotel. In attendance was an assortment of different personalities: From pageant queen to music geek to local partyphile to freelance artist, and all the in-betweens. The party somehow manages to rake in an exciting bunch of people under one roof. (Though, at one point, Blue Room became too crowded that a makeshift gathering was happening outside.) Now, that's a party.
