The night seemed endlessly young and on the summer of May, 4 2013, the equally fresh LIEU Online Magazine released its sophomore issue to an audience of well-dressed youngsters, satisfied customers and the company of great people.

Aidx Paredes, known fashion blogger, stylist-extraordinaire, and top dog of LIEU Online Magazine is one among a few notable people who dares to challenge the boundaries of creativity. As the Creative Director for LIEU Online Magazine he believes that it is high time for due recognition of the underground movements of artistry in Davao.  Working alongside him the LIEU team set up their booth on the north side of Tienda del Mercado. On approaching their booth you are greeted by a pair of Macs while the ever-approachable Lieu team members prompt you with small talk and encourage you to like their page on Facebook with the chance to win an interesting bunch of freebies: Lieu stickers, an amusing 10-year prophecy or a bottle of beer. All throughout the night the booth attracts a seamless network of art enthusiasts, curious individuals and beer fans. Needless to say alcohol always seems to find its place in important Lieu events.

While the team is busy entertaining guests, Janvie Tiu, and Lieu's own Pat Bacaltos and Aidx Paredes style gorgeous models to showcase the easy-going crowd of their impeccable eye for fashion. The fashion show couldn't have been possible without the partnership of the fashion establishments within Tienda del Mercado. Everywhere you look you see people in their laid-back or Coachella-inspired outfits.

After the fashion show an enticing sneak-peek of what's inside the magazine is projected on screen. A surprise raffle is announced for those who have liked LIEU’s Facebook page in the booth and entitled 15 lucky winners with either a movie ticket, shirt or accessory. Towards the end a few members of the Lieu team went up on stage, sporting a bottle of beer in one hand, to join the effortlessly engaging hosts to dedicate a toast for the launching of LIEU Online Magazine's second issue. With arms up in the air and after all efforts towards the event and the magazine itself, each gave a silent toast to summer, life and the dream for the magazine to continue marching on with flying colors.

LIEU Online Magazine would like to thank GOOD Clothing and CHUNKS of SIX 4 Cartel (Ponce St., Davao City), Tienda del Mercado, DJ Cheekie Albay of HIPHOUSE, and all those who came and enjoyed.
