SM Lanang Premier brought two of Philippine’s top fashion bloggers David Guison and Laureen Uy as a grand kick-off for their “Great 3-Day Sale” which was on July 19 to the 21st. Models cat walked down the runway last Friday for “David/Laureen #LookBook Live.” The event started with an introduction of David and Laureen. Also one of Davao’s up and coming young DJs, DJ Rain set the mood to the show with mixes that are non-reminiscent of the redundant and exhausting *toonst toonst* electronica dance music.



Trendy looks were put together by the students of the Fashion Institute of Design and Art with clothes fresh off the racks with brands that can be found in SM Lanang Premier such as Terranova, Forever 21, Cotton On, Esprit, Marks and Spencers and Penshoppe. Each store had 10 looks; 5 for women and 5 for men. The looks strut on the runway resonates that of David and Laureen; truly outstanding.

There were a few looks, to a non-fashionista’s point of view, that would seem obscure as models rocked print-on-print outfits and bright and colorful clothes. Very trendy styles that could also be seen were blazers and polos. Especially on men, sporting the 90s-wrap-the-sweater-around-your-waist look gave the show a good throwback and a nice mix of something relatively old paired with something new.

After the show, David and Laureen came out again for a meet and greet for the readers and followers of these stylish individuals. As the two sat down, people made their way up to the stage and gathered around them to get a piece of advice, styling tips and to pay their respects to the fashionable and iconic bloggers.
